Terraced houses built in 1852-60/ These were back-to-backs and the other side is known as Bywater Buildings after Matthew Bywater who bought the land. Listed grade II (list entry 1256210), and now converted to student flats owned by UNIPOL.

'Lychgate' into Meanwood park, Leeds
This is possibly on the 1934 1:2500 map, assuming that it was built at the same time as the curved walls on each side. I think it was probably built to look like a lychgate, rather than having been moved from a churchyard entrance.
