No 2 Burley Hill Drive, Kirkstall, Leeds
This is a grade 2 listed building (in the Leeds City Council Gazetteer of listed buildings). It is one of a pair of lodges, which I believe were originally built as gatehouses for William Beckett's Kirkstall Grange estate, (now known as Becketts Park, a campus of Leeds Metropolitan University). The other lodge on Otley Road can be seen here - Image]

Three chimneys
A detail of the rear of the former lodge at the top of Burley Hill Drive Image I guess the nearer one served a boiler house or laundry, and the other two coal fires indoors.

Former Boston Diner, Kirkstall, Leeds
Once an old Victorian mansion stood here, eventually becoming a series of restaurants which ended up with the Boston Diner and Boston Exchange. After a severe fire around 2004, the building was demolished and the plot has remained empty. There are plans to develop apartments on the site.
