This is a grade 2 listed building (in the Leeds City Council Gazetteer of listed buildings). It is one of a pair of lodges, which I believe were originally built as gatehouses for William Beckett's Kirkstall Grange estate, (now known as Becketts Park, a campus of Leeds Metropolitan University).
