Armley Ward Area

• Tackle anti-social behaviour on Town Street. Increasing visible Police patrols and working with partners at LASBT to reinforce ASB Legislation. To work with Street Outreach and addiction services to support change. We will also work alongside Youth Services to support changes and diversionary activities with youths.

• As part of the safer streets fund, the number of officers has been increased within the Armley ward. As such, we have increased patrols in and around the centre of Armley and hotspot areas. 
   
• The neighbourhood policing team have recently conducted a number of warrants in the ward, tackling the sale of drugs. This is as of a result of community intelligence.
   
• The neighbourhood policing team have conducted traffic operations in the area, targeting problem locations identified by the community.
   

Pudsey Ward Area

• To target youth related anti-social behaviour around the centre of Pudsey. We will carry out high visibility patrols across the ward in identified hotspots, to identify young people involved. We will work closely with partners in Youth Service Provisions, to engage with young people, in order to direct them into available diversionary activities. In addition, we will liaise with Leeds City Council Anti-Social Behaviour Team, to review and take action against those repeatedly involved in anti-social behaviour.
   
• To tackle residential Burglary across the Pudsey Ward. The police will tackle this through the use of intelligence led patrols at key times to disrupt and deter offenders. We will utilise crime prevention methods to target harden properties in the area.
   
• To tackle anti-social vehicle use, speeding in and around identified hot spot areas within the Pudsey area. Deployments are community intelligence driven. We will address this issue through the use of proactive patrols and the use of speed indication devices to engage and educate the public around the dangers of excess speed. We will utilise Sec 59 warnings and the Leeds wide public spaces protection order to tackle low-level vehicular nuisance. Vehicular nuisance PSPO ( www.leeds.gov.uk )

Bramley Ward Area

• To disrupt and deter anti-social behaviour in the ward. Officers will be conducting regular high visibility patrols in the area and will engage with attendees where possible, utilizing a multi-agency approach to help divert offending and offenders.

• To target Anti-Social Vehicle use, including quads and off-road bikes, speeding and inconsiderate parking in and around identified hot spot areas within the Bramley area. Deployments are community intelligence driven. Positive action will be taken where possible regarding driving offences and high visibility officers will be utilised.
   
• To tackle residential burglary. Officers will review offences and ensure all lines of enquiry are exhausted. Where necessary, victims will be referred to the area's crime prevention officer for support.

Farnley and Wortley Ward Areas

Kirkstall Ward Area

• To tackle theft of motor vehicles, including motorcycles and associated burglary offences in the area by proactively targeting offenders and conducting high visibility patrols in the area. This will be supported by the provision of education for residents, limiting the offenders opportunity to commit the offences.
   
• To reduce and prevent the antisocial use of motorcycle and related crime. NPT are working with partners to reduce access to land and routes. In addition, police will conduct operations and actively target repeat offenders using road traffic law and seizures.
   
• To tackle theft from shop, particularly around Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park, Savins Mill Way, and other heavily affected businesses in the Kirkstall ward.  We will conduct high visibility patrols and increase communication with the stores and "Businesses Against Crime In Leeds" (BACIL). In addition, police will utilise powers to actively prevent repeat offenders from attending the area, adopting injunctions and criminal behaviour orders.

• The neighbourhood policing team have launched Operation Bradebank to tackle this issue. Officers are able to review crimes and identify patterns and trends. This assists in identifying those responsible.

Calverley and Farsley Ward Areas

• To target the use of anti-social, off-road motorcycles and quad bikes in Calverley and Ravenscliffe Woods, by working in Partnership with Bradford East NPT, Operation Steerside & Leeds Off Road Bike Team. Officers will utilise Anti-Social Behaviour and Road Traffic legislation in a zero-tolerance enforcement style.
   
• To promote Road Safety relating to the anti-social use of cars and motor bikes in the area by Conducting Road Safety Operations with partners at Operational Support and DVLA and VOSA using legislation to tackle Anti-social driving.
   
• To tackle antisocial use of fireworks in the ward. This can be targeted not only by high visibility patrols but also by deploying additional police powers to prevent this behaviour. We will work alongside partner agencies to take appropriate action against those continuously causing issues.

• Three theft of motor vehicle offences have been recorded during the last month. No suspects have been identified. One offence remains under investigation.
   
• Two reports relating to nuisance motorcycles have been made during the last month. This number is expected to rise as the weather improves. The neighbourhood policing and off road bike team will continue to monitor the issue and deploy to hotspot areas.
   
• 22 shoplifting offences have been recorded during the last month. Five suspects have been identified and one suspect has been charged. 11 offences remain under investigation.

• 11 reports relating to nuisance motorcycles have been made during the last month, five of which were reported for Carr Hill Drive. This number is expected to rise as the weather improves. The neighbourhood policing and off road bike team will continue to monitor the issue and deploy to hotspot areas.
   
• Two traffic tickets have been given by the neighbourhood policing team during the last month. The neighbourhood policing team welcome reports relating to speeding and the anti-social use of vehicles.
   
• Reports relating to the anti-social use of fireworks have reduced drastically over the last few months. The neighbourhood policing team will continue to work with neighbouring NPTs and partners to tackle the issue.
   

Armley Ward Area

• During the last month officers have seized 1 vehicle for document offences, and have served 2 section 59 warnings to drivers driving in an anti-social manner.

• 46 shoplifting offences have been recorded during the last month. 23 suspects have been identified and 7 suspects have been charged. 15 offences remain under investigation.
   
• The neighbourhood policing team welcome reports relating to speeding and the anti-social use of vehicles.

Bramley Ward Area

• The neighbourhood policing team have given 20 traffic tickets during the last month. They have seized one vehicle.

Officers will utilise Anti-Social Behaviour and Road Traffic legislation in a zero-tolerance enforcement style.
   
• To promote Road Safety relating to the anti-social use of cars and motor bikes in the area by Conducting Road Safety Operations with partners at Operational Support and DVLA and VOSA using legislation to tackle Anti-social driving.
   

• To tackle antisocial use of fireworks in the ward. This can be targeted not only by high visibility patrols but also by deploying additional police powers to prevent this behaviour. We will work alongside partner agencies to take appropriate action against those continuously causing issues.

   

• To tackle ongoing issues and road safety concerns with regard to parking around drop-off and pick-up times at the ward’s seven primary schools. Where resources allow, we will provide visibility around peak times. We will also work with the council's parking services to identify long term solutions. 

Armley Ward Area

• Tackle anti-social behaviour on Town Street. Increasing visible Police patrols and working with partners at LASBT to reinforce ASB Legislation. To work with Street Outreach and addiction services to support change. We will also work alongside Youth Services to support changes and diversionary activities with youths.

• To target youth related anti-social behaviour around the centre of Pudsey. We will carry out high visibility patrols across the ward in identified hotspots, to identify young people involved. We will work closely with partners in Youth Service Provisions, to engage with young people, in order to direct them into available diversionary activities. In addition, we will liaise with Leeds City Council Anti-Social Behaviour Team, to review and take action against those repeatedly involved in anti-social behaviour.
   
• To tackle shop theft in the ward, targeting repeat offenders and signposting to relevant support organisations.
   
• To tackle anti-social vehicle use, speeding in and around identified hot spot areas within the Pudsey area. Deployments are community intelligence driven. We will address this issue through the use of proactive patrols and the use of speed indication devices to engage and educate the public around the dangers of excess speed. We will utilise Sec 59 warnings and the Leeds wide public spaces protection order to tackle low-level vehicular nuisance. Vehicular nuisance PSPO ( www.leeds.gov.uk )

Bramley Ward Area

• To disrupt and deter anti-social behaviour in the ward. Officers will be conducting regular high visibility patrols in the area and will engage with attendees where possible, utilizing a multi-agency approach to help divert offending and offenders.

• To target Anti-Social Vehicle use, including quads and off-road bikes, speeding and inconsiderate parking in and around identified hot spot areas within the Bramley area. • To tackle residential burglary. Officers will review offences and ensure all lines of enquiry are exhausted. Where necessary, victims will be referred to the area's crime prevention officer for support.

Bramley Ward Area

• Residential burglary offences remain low when compared to neighbouring wards. 10 offences have been recorded during the last 4 weeks.

Farnley and Wortley Ward Areas

• To tackle anti-social behaviour in the ward. Increasing visible Police patrols and working with partners at LASBT to utilise anti-social legislation. We will also work alongside Youth Services to support changes and diversionary activities with youths.

• The neighbourhood policing team continue their efforts to tackle repeat issues. The team has recognised an increase around McDonald's, Butt Lane and the shops on Pudsey Road.

• The neighbourhood policing team continue to receive information with regard to problem locations and will look to tackle reported issues.

Kirkstall Ward Area

• To tackle theft of motor vehicles, including motorcycles and associated burglary offences in the area by proactively targeting offenders and conducting high visibility patrols in the area. This will be supported by the provision of education for residents, limiting the offenders opportunity to commit the offences.
   
• To reduce and prevent the antisocial use of motorcycle and related crime. NPT are working with partners to reduce access to land and routes. In addition, police will conduct operations and actively target repeat offenders using road traffic law and seizures.
   
• To tackle theft from shop, particularly around Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park, Savins Mill Way, and other heavily affected businesses in the Kirkstall ward.  We will conduct high visibility patrols and increase communication with the stores and "Businesses Against Crime In Leeds" (BACIL). In addition, police will utilise powers to actively prevent repeat offenders from attending the area, adopting injunctions and criminal behaviour orders.

• Theft of motor vehicle offences have decreased this month. 2 offences have been recorded, with a decrease of 2. 
• Reports relating to nuisance motorcycles remains low, particularly when compared to other wards in the west area. 3 reports have been made this month. 
• 38 shoplifting offences have been recorded this month. Suspects have been identified in 23 of these offences.

Calverley and Farsley Ward Areas

• To target the use of anti-social, off-road motorcycles and quad bikes in Calverley and Ravenscliffe Woods, by working in Partnership with Bradford East NPT, Operation Steerside & Leeds Off Road Bike Team. Officers will utilise Anti-Social Behaviour and Road Traffic legislation in a zero-tolerance enforcement style.

• Reports at the bus station remain relatively low. Members of the public have reported an increase in issues around the Swinnow area.
• 28 shoplifting offences have been recorded this month. Suspects have been identified in 20 of these offences.
