Adel Friends' meeting house
The building, dating from 1870 and by architect Edward Birchall who had designed the Woodhouse Lane meeting house two years earlier
Image, is shown on the 1908 map as a mortuary chapel within a Quaker burial ground. But since 1928 it has been used as the place of worship of the congregation. There is a more modern extension to the rear, built in 2007. Information from the Statement of Significance published on the Quaker Heritage website.

Adel Friends' burial ground - lodge
