Footpath from Cabbage Hill to Wortley Moor Road
This section of the public footpath roughly follows the line of an old industrial tramway to the nearby brick and fireclay works (it may have been to the other side of the fence to the right). I'm not sure what the bushes to the left are, possibly some form of eucalyptus?

Path round the perimeter of Cabbage Hill
Cabbage Hill is now a public open space on high ground above Wortley, but the eastern and western ends of the site are landfill to a former quarry and claypit.

The top of Cabbage Hill
Cabbage Hill is now a public open space on high ground above Wortley, but this western end of the site is landfill to a former quarry, while the eastern end is an infilled claypit for the former Wortley brickworks. The area in the centre of this view is probably a 'greenfield' site without former industrial use, although former agricultural use may have given the site its name.

DSL House, Wortley Moor Road
DSL stood for Demolition Services Ltd. and the building occupies the site of a former row of industrial workers' houses called Denton Row. As of the start of 2021 the site appeared unoccupied and advertised to let. It would be ironic if someone else ended up demolishing their building.
