Closed shop on Hall Lane, Armley
There is now no sign of what type of shop this was, although the large door to one side suggests that they needed to take delivery of large items, or maybe had a workshop attached.

Converted church on Mitford Road
Built as the Hall Lane Congregational Church in 1898 (Methodist New Connexion). Conversion of a disused church building to apartments is not unusual, but introducing a separate front door for each one is. See also Image

Former Hall Lane Congregational Church, Armley
The church opened on 12 March 1898 and was built by the Methodist New Connexion. The squat tower once had a spire on top but it was removed in 1938 - see photo on the Leodis website. The building has been converted to flats.

Open space off Hall Lane, Armley
Like many such urban spaces, there were once houses here - three parallel streets (Ramsey Street, Elsworth Place and Elsworth Terrace), probably of back-to-back houses, either side of Stott Street (where the red car is) and including the site of the present all-weather football pitch visible behind the trees.
