Waring Street, Horncastle
A quiet cul-de-sac with old cottages and much newer housing. At the far end is access, on foot, to the town centre. It means having to cross the busy A158, but there is a pelican crossing provided.

Horncastle: The 'Bull'
There are many public houses in this fine Lincolnshire town. Many of them are former coaching inns which developed because in former years the town was a major centre of horse dealing. The 'Bull', at 1610, is one of the earliest, and is now a really fine traditional pub with food as well as accommodation. You will not drink a finer pint of Marston's Pedigree than that served here, but of course, it's so good that you might well be tempted into one too many - in which case, you might see the ghost, a lady with a small child who passes through occasionally.
