Large house overlooking the harbour
This house is currently on sale through Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents. Their brochure describes the house thus: "Steeped in local history, this imposing house was constructed in the mid 18th Century on the instruction of Nicolas Treweek so that he could view his ship building operations and the incoming and outgoing sea traffic from the port of Amlwch. He was the founder of two ship building yards in the Port and also owned the Mona Mine Company which supplied most of the world's copper. ... The property which has been partly modernised but still retains some of its original architecture and which boasts an elevated position with views over the Bay and the Town..." The asking price is somewhere in the region of £240,000.

Square Plan Chimney, New Quay Street, Porth Amlwch
The square plan, rubble stone chimney was probably erected in the mid-late nineteenth century along with other structures such as the dry dock and sail loft at the northeastern end of the harbour. It is Grade II-listed (Cadw ref: 5721 https://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=&id=5721 ).

The Sail Loft Visitor Centre
The Sail Loft Visitor Centre is located above the entrance to Amlwch Harbour. It houses an exhibition dealing with the history of the port and its links with the copper industry.
