This house is currently on sale through Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents. Their brochure describes the house thus: "Steeped in local history, this imposing house was constructed in the mid 18th Century on the instruction of Nicolas Treweek so that he could view his ship building operations and the incoming and outgoing sea traffic from the port of Amlwch. He was the founder of two ship building yards in the Port and also owned the Mona Mine Company which supplied most of the world's copper. ... The property which has been partly modernised but still retains some of its original architecture and which boasts an elevated position with views over the Bay and the Town..." The asking price is somewhere in the region of £240,000.
