Plaque at Eglwys Llanaelhaearn
The Welsh section reads 'Sunday - Welsh service every Sunday at 10 a.m.' Priest The Reverend Idris Thomas. A native of Dinorwig, Mr Thomas is also the Rector of both Clynnog and Trefor.

Eglwys Sant Aelhaearn Church
Established by Aelhaearn in the 7th C, the church, which is cruciform in shape, was substantially remodelled in Victorian times. Inside is the gravestone of ALIORTVS ELEMATIACO, a man who died far from his homeland, Elfed (Elvet), in what later became West Yorkshire.

The west end and main door of St Aelhaearn's church, Llanaelhaearn. There is an Ordnance Survey bench mark to the left of the door, but it is no longer recorded on the O.S. database: Image The church has three inscribed Roman stones in its churchyard.
