This field on the edge of Conwy is the last undeveloped plot of land before the boundary with the Snowdonia National Park. It is earmarked for possible future housing.

Sychnant Pass Road
Leading out of Conwy. Just beyond the "2-ton limit ahead" sign is the boundary of the Snowdonia National Park, although the sign Image for it is almost hidden by the undergrowth.

Snowdonia National Park boundary
Entering the Snowdonia National Park on Sychnant Pass Road. The sign Image is almost hidden in the undergrowth. The adjacent road-signs indicates the end of a 30 mph zone and return to the National Speed Limit but warns that speed cameras are in force on the road.

This sign of course marks entry into the N.P. area on the outskirts of Conwy. (I love that logo by the way - do other walkers and park visitors feel the same as they enter the park?).
