Gate piers and entrance gates to the churchyard
The piers are constructed of local grey stone (slate, probably) with yellow sandstone quoins, and were built in 1875 or thereabouts under the aegis of an architect from Shrewsbury. Repairs to the church were being undertaken at the same time. The piers and attached wrought iron gates attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300081881-entrance-gates-and-piers-to-church-of-st-trillo-llandrillo#.YPmsxehKjIU in 2003.
