Gate and Wasteland
The wasteland behind the gate is no doubt earmarked for development since the building in the distance is a hotel and there is a Mc Donald's to the right.

Extension to Flagstaff Island, Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Completed in around 2018, containing a KFC, Starbucks, and an Esso fuel station. The original complex was completed in around 2003, containing a McDonald's, Brewer's Fayre and a Premier Inn. Whilst acting as a small service station for the A42 (M42), it is close enough to Ashby's centre to act as a fast-food eating location for residents.

How did we EVER manage without?
"We're open 24 hours", says the sign (apart from Sundays, when the times are more limited). 24-hour supermarket shopping is a pastime for people who really need to get out more!

Coalfield Way, Ashby-de-la-Zouch
An industrial estate which has recently expanded into a small shopping centre. The B&M shop's design imitates the design of the Marks and Spencer Foodhall (road entrance on the left).
In the distance is Ceva House, part of the Excelsior Road industrial estate.
