Leicester's Statue of Liberty
This replica Statue of Liberty is 17-foot tall and weighs 3.4 tons.
It originally stood atop the Liberty Shoe factory in Leicester, until 2002 when the building was demolished. The statue, which dates back to the 1920s, was placed on a pedestal on a traffic island close to where it originally stood.
The tall building under construction will eventually become student flats.

The Summit in Leicester
This tower is one of Leicester's newest landmarks, The Summit. It is a development of student accommodation by the Eastern Boulevard. It has twenty-two storeys, and is 219 feet (67 metres) in height, the city's third tallest building since its completion in 2013.
