About fifteen per cent of Leicester's population are followers of the Hindu religion. To meet their needs, Leicester has about twenty Hindu Temples, of which this is one. It is run by the Hindu Religious & Cultural Society of Leicester.

Shree Geeta Bhavan Temple & Hindu Community Centre (1), 70 Clarendon Park Road, Leicester
The building has been in use as a Hindu Temple and community centre since the 1980's. In July 2010, a £500,000 extension to the temple was officially opened.

On the right is the Shree Gita Bhavan Temple and Hindu Community Centre. On the other side of the road, with an octagonal tower, is Christchurch, a Baptist-Methodist Ecumenical Church, and the Chinese Christian Centre is further up the road on the right.

Billson & Sharp, 104 Queens Road, Leicester
This very unusual looking building, on the corner of Queens Road and Clarendon Park Road, is occupied by Billson & Sharp. They are a long established firm of Leicester solicitors, with a history going back to 1889. This office is an agency for the Loughborough Building Society.

Christchurch Clarendon Park, 105a Clarendon Park Road, Leicester
Christchurch Clarendon Park has since 1992 been a Baptist/Methodist Local Ecumenical Partnership. The church was formed by the congregations of the former Clarendon Park Baptist and Clarendon Park Methodist churches. The building looks as if it is either very early 20th century or Victorian.
