Elms Drive forms part of the extensive suburban development on the west side of Quorn. Quorn is one of a number of large suburban villages stretched through the Soar vallay between Leicester and Loughborough making for an almost continuous urban corridor.

Watch Tower, Quorndon Fox, High Street, Quorn
The Watch Tower is situated in the grounds of the Quorndon Fox Public House. The premises was situated on the main London to Manchester stagecoach route. During the 18th and early 19th century it was a coaching inn named the ‘Swan with Two Necks’. It is said that the watch tower was used to warn the cook and stable staff of approaching coaches that required quick turn rounds. The tower can be viewed from the Public Right of Way that runs past the site.
