Handsome former warehouse, c1870, by local architect William Jackson for Hart & Levy, tailors and wholesale clothiers. Well proportioned, some nice carved detail and a pleasing balance between the brick and stone dressings. Grade II listed.

Wimbledon Street is flanked with former industrial buildings - mills and factories. These have now been converted into residential apartments. People living here are just a few minutes' walk from Leicester city centre.
The tower block in the background is a British Telecom office block, believed to be the tallest building in Leicester.
