Turkey Caf?, Leicester
First opened on Granby Street as a café in 1901 in an Art Deco/ Art Nouveau style, later used as a coffee and ice-cream shop and, in the early 1980s as an opticians, when it was restored. Currently a café-bar open in the evenings until 2am.

Former Leicestershire Bank, Granby Street, Leicester
A festive affair, distinguished by the stone dressings spicing up the red brick. The style is a mix of Lombard and Early English Gothic (Image]). By Joseph Goddard (described by Pevsner as Leicester's most creative C19th architect), 1872-74. Grade II* listed.
The freehold was for sale.
