Loughborough University
The building in the foreground is the Gas Research Centre and those behind are the main University buildings. Image can just be seen in front of Holywell Wood to the left. The car is on Snell's Nook Lane in Image, the road that leads from Nanpantan to the A512.

Holywell Park Conference Centre
My 'Alma Mater' the Gas Research Centre at Loughborough. Built by British Gas (immediately pre-1990 privatisation) for £130M for 1000 staff with expansion room to 1200, and within 13 years of privatisation down to circa 200 staff, foreign-owned (German/Norwegian) and renting just a small part of their formerly-owned building (now owned by Loughborough University as a multi-occupancy 'indoor Science Park' with 20+ occupants). This building is the former conference centre now run as a commercial meetings centre. The buildings in the background are the main bulk of the former research centre.
