I found the wording interesting on two accounts - the geographical link and the spiritual content, so it will be quoted in full....
In affectionate remembrance of William John Bufton author of "The Ramblers Illustrated Guide to Llandrindod Wells." Eldest son of Evan & Eliza Bufton late of London House, Llandrindod Wells who died June 4th 1897, aged 25 years.
Short was the summons that was given
To call thy ransomed soul away
To join the glorious hosts of heaven
In the bright realms of endless day.
"Be ye also ready".

A4081 Splitting at Llandrindod Wells
Travelling towards Llandrindod Wells, the A4081 divides on the outskirts of the town after crossing the Ithon at Llanyre Bridge; both routes leading to the A483, one in the town centre, the other to the north.
