Railway preservation site, Kirkland Yard, Leven
The Kingdom of Fife Railway Preservation Society were previously based at Lochty in the East Neuk of Fife but about ten years ago had to move from there and eventually found a site on the former railway marshalling yard at Kirkland, west of Leven. They were successful in obtaining a Heritage Lottery grant to erect the green and grey shed as a workshop and museum and have since been laying sidings on which to store some of their rolling stock.

Pedestrian bridge over the railway
Apparently built to carry a bit more than pedestrian weights, but now bollarded off to prevent anything larger than motorbikes. The track runs from the Sawmill Bridge Image back alongside the river to the bottom end of Methil Brae.

Railway bridge strike plate
These plates identify bridges carrying either a railway over a road or a road over a railway. The plate also carries information on what to do in the event of a bridge being struck by a road vehicle. This particular plate is on this bridge https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7442626 which carries a footpath over the (currently under construction) Levenmouth Rail Link https://www.railway-technology.com/projects/levenmouth-rail-link-project-fife-scotland/ Not all such bridges carry one of these plates - if in doubt contact the police.
