Currently housing a vape shop, the shop on the corner was previously occupied by a running shop and then before that for many years Hutchinson Fuels, as advertised on the side wall. Housed in a wing of The Mansion, a large house on Church Street, built in 1739 as a rebuild of an earlier building. For a time in the 19th Century it housed a school. In 1949 it was purchased by Leatherhead Urban District council on behalf of Surrey County Council and has served in various public roles, including the town library (now moved to this wing), a health clinic, an employment and careers office and the local registry office.
