The Centre for Useless Splendour
Sign on the wall of the former Swan Pub Image which is now closed. The centre for Useless Splendour is something to do with Kingston University art students http://blogs.kingston.ac.uk/fada/2010/11/19/the-centre-for-useless-splendour-invites-you%E2%80%A6/ but whether they still meet splendidly at this sad and boarded up venue is unclear. It doesn't seem likely.

Kingston upon Thames: The Swan
Fifteen months down the road from Mark's Image and The Swan in Mill Street stands in silent testament to the number of pubs that fall by the wayside every week. Not even the immediate proximity of the University of Kingston upon Thames was good enough to save this one.
