The edge of Moreton Hall estate
A very large model of a Yak aerobatic aircraft makes an emergency landing, with smoke on, in front of Rougham airfield's famous row of trees. Behind that we see the Audi dealership and a few houses, neatly symbolising the mixed industrial and housing nature of the Moreton Hall estate.
The event was Bury Model Flying Club's "Flying At Its Best" model show.

Skechers factory on Rougham Tower Avenue
The industrial estate of Suffolk Park has recently been built over Rougham Airfield, hence the road name.

Remains of runway, Rougham Airfield
Rougham Airfield is on the eastern edge of Bury St. Edmunds. It still has two grass runways but the third direction is only revealed by this track across a field.

Pool car, Moreton Hall estate, Bury St. Edmunds
The Moreton Hall estate inches across the Rougham airfield site, with these the most eastern houses. The pool appears to be accidental, and not a landscaping feature.
The newer roads are not on the Landranger map.

New Football Ground?
Beyond the roundabout at the top of Skyliner Way, a new road not yet shown on Landranger maps, are the open fields being earmarked by St Edmundsbury BC as the site for the future home of Bury Town FC.

New road, between Moreton Hall estate and Rougham Airfield
This road is too new to appear on the Landranger maps on Geograph. The Moreton Hall estate is behind, Rougham Airfield in front. The industrial estate that grew from the wartime buildings can be seen in the distance in the next square.
Those trees on the right feature in thousands of photos every year, thanks to the regular model and full size aircraft shows.
