View of an Austin Gypsy fire engine in Ilford Town Centre
Looking south-southwest. This was at an event similar to that in Romford Market earlier in the week, at which my photos of the Austin 1100 and Morris Minor 1000 police car and Morris LD Wadham Stringer ambulance were taken, which looked to be to encourage public engagement with the emergency services.

View of Stefan Reiss's O.T.968 outside Ilford Town Hall
This piece of digital art is called O.T.968 and is designed by Stefan Reiss. It is part of a new initiative by Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure and Space Studios called the Lab Central Arts Programme, with funding from the Arts Council England Libraries: Opportunities for Everyone Innovation Fund. The launch of the artwork was marked with three performances from Cirque Bijou, a group of people carrying illuminated umbrellas parading the streets of Ilford and who featured in Lumiere London (see Image). Looking north-northeast.
