Junction of A13 Alfreds Way and Spur Road
The name of Spur Road is pretty self-explanatory - it is simply a small feeder road which leads from the A13 Alfreds Way down to Jenkins Lane. Jenkins Lane itself is only really a small feeder road which heads left to the Jenkins Lane Recycling Centre and right for the new Showcase Cinema, as well as around the back of the sewage treatment plant. Entering Newham
The Cycle Superhighway leads beside the A13 dual carriageway heading into London from Barking and Dagenham. It passes over Spur Road (which leads left towards Showcase Cinema).
In the background is the road junction with the A406 North Circular heading right to Ilford and Wandstead.
