The name of Spur Road is pretty self-explanatory - it is simply a small feeder road which leads from the A13 Alfreds Way down to Jenkins Lane. Jenkins Lane itself is only really a small feeder road which heads left to the Jenkins Lane Recycling Centre and right for the new Showcase Cinema, as well as around the back of the sewage treatment plant.
