The Ash and the Holly in Cranbrook Avenue
This pair of old trees are likely to have seen many winters together in the corner between Cranbrook Avenue and Cottingham Road. The holly is covered in red berries, the ash has just lost all its leaves.

More Ronno, Hull
Having noted here Image the number of tributes in Hull to the city's celebrated guitarist and David Bowie sideman Mick Ronson, I seem to be spotting them everywhere.
I'm not sure how recent this image is, at the corner of Cottingham Road and Cranbrook Avenue, but it is certainly smaller and possibly less permanent than some of the others. It carries a quote from Bowie's song 'Changes' presumably in connection with the musical ‘Turn And Face The Strange’ at Hull Truck theatre https://turnandfacethestrange.co.uk/, based on Ronson’s life.
