A fairly modern building. The architectural form is quite ecclesiastical, with the transept-like entrance, steeply pitched roofs and tall arched window.

Beverley Road (A1079)
This is a north-south arterial route in Hull, and local people refer to the most southern point as "the top of Bev. Road". The view here is north and on the opposite side of the road from the Pearson Avenue junction. A Fairtrade City (http://www.fairtradehull.org ) lamppost banner is noted.

Reconstruction work
The ground floor of this building on the corner of Melwood Grove, which until recently had been a motorcycle shop called Two Wheels (it can be glimpsed on the edge of Image), was being stripped and renovated. The windowed shop front had been completely removed and the upper floor supported on temporary props and girders. It did not look terribly safe! The bright light is from welding or cutting equipment.
