One of the many short terraced streets in Hull which are too small to be shown on most street maps. Looking north from Airlie Street towards McKinley Avenue and Albermarle Street. These houses are scheduled for demolition between 2011 and 2014.

Aylesford Street, Hull
Nos.1-25 Aylesford Street, looking north-northeast from Doris Vale at the western end of Airlie Street. These terraced houses have been earmarked by the city council for acquisition and demolition between 2011 and 2014. A large number of feral pigeons have recently taken up residence in the upstairs rooms of No.25 on the right. Perhaps someone should tell them it's the outside and not the inside which needs a new coat of whitewash.

Airlie Street, Hull
Painted rag and bone carts parked opposite the old Boulevard rugby stadium on Airlie Street, Hull. The street gave Hull FC rugby league club their nickname "The Airlie Birds", although the club have shared the new KC Stadium in West Park with Hull City Football Club since it opened in January 2003.
