Westwood Park, Beverley, Yorkshire
The former Westwood House, originally a villa of cream brick in large grounds, built 1858 for Charles Simpson. It was accessed via Pasture Terrace. As Beaver Lodge, it was integrated into the adjacent Westwood General Hospital during the late 20th century.
In 2012 the hospital site became redundant. In 2014 planning permission was granted to the P.J. Livesey Group to redevelop the site for private housing, to be known as Westwood Park. In Phase II, Beaver Lodge, now called The Mansion House, is being developed into luxury apartments, due to be completed this year.
