Westwood View, a group of five houses overlooking Westwood pasture, built 1880-90s. The first four houses are Nos. 1 to 4 Westwood View, the fifth is No.62 Westwood Road.

In 1930 the workhouse became The Institution and was taken over by the East Riding Council. In 1939 the buildings became Westwood General Hospital, to serve the town of Beverley.
