Jubilee commemorations at Much Marcle
The red seat was erected by Much Marcle parish council to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's Silver jubilee in 1975. The tree however is much earlier. It was planted by a Mrs Moneykyrle in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria's 50th year on the throne.

The Jubilee Tree
At the junction of the road to Rushall and the Much Marcle to How Caple road. The tree was planted by Mrs Money Kyrle in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. The seat was erected in 1977 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee.
