Winter cereals, Brierley
There is still a big keep out sign on the stile into this field because of hop wilt. The hops have long gone, largely replaced by strawberries. A few years earlier there were polytunnels in this field.

Attempted path closure
A legacy from when hops were grown here, it is now polytunnels full of strawberries. Given we are only reluctantly granted hassle free linear access on the benighted half of the isle, it was a bloody cheek trying to take that away as well.
