River Wye downstream from Hay Bridge, Hay-on-Wye
Viewed from the B4351 on Hay Bridge. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3087177 The Wye is the fifth longest river in the UK. Its general course is from NW to SE, and south in its final section towards Chepstow. Richard Booth's Bookshop, Hay on Wye
Richard Booth lives in Hay Castle and is credited with transforming the town into a global attraction for second-hand book lovers. His family have lived in the area for more than a hundred years. The son of a garage mechanic, Richard Booth attended Rugby school and Oxford University. After graduating, he decided to return to his Mid Wales roots. Mr Booth, the self-styled 'King of Hay' is quite a controversial figure.
