Viewed from the B4351 on Hay Bridge. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3087177 The Wye is the fifth longest river in the UK. Its general course is from NW to SE, and south in its final section towards Chepstow. The river seen here in Hay-on-Wye is part of a 20 km long section, from near Glasbury to near Whitney-on-Wye, where its course it mostly to the NE. Ahead on the right, out of shot in the middle distance, Dulas Brook flows into the Wye.
