Smallholding next to Tring Cemetery
Smallholding with ponies viewed from the old A41 road (now B4635). I suspect the stern notice is designed to deter rustlers.

Gate across an abandoned bridleway
This gate closes the end of a disused section of the bridleway that runs along the old Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire county boundary. The bridleway was cut by the Tring bypass and rerouted – and a stretch of the former bridleway, with an established hedge on either side is now overgrown. In addition the county boundary has been re-aligned to follow the bypass.

Former Telephone Repeater Station, Tring
Situated on the B4635 Aylesbury Road, this former TRS would appear to have been shut down somewhile ago. However, a BT warning notice can be seen at the front of the redbrick building, so it would appear that BT still own it. Rubbish and broken fencing lie in front of this former TE, its postcode being HP23 4DH. Update: the BT warning notice is no longer fixed at the front of this building and the rubbish has now been removed.

Old derestricted sign on Aylesbury Road
It is hard to know the age as this is the only sign I am aware of that didn't change in 1964. The older ones are certain as they have different types backing them for the speed limits of the pre-1964 style, while these have nothing to date them.

The Shire Hedge (Bucks/Herts boundary at Tring)
The hedge was the line of the Buckinghamshire Hertfordshire boundary, and may well have been here since Saxon times. There was a bridleway running beside it until the Tring Bypass (A41) was built, when the right of way was diverted along the drive to Drayton Manor. More recently the county boundary was changed to include the bypass in Hertfordshire.
