Go kart coming downhill in Great Missenden
This lad and his sister are the proud owners of this go-kart or bogey which they told me they were given by a neighbour, if I recall correctly, who had it laying unused in his shed, and gave it to them to give it a new lease of life. I haven't seen this sort of vehicle in 30+ years, maybe longer. They even have a Wikepedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity_racer Furthermore people are still building them! http://www.oilyhands.co.uk/homemade_gocart_dilly_trolley.htm

Great Missenden: A413
The A413 Great Missenden bypass was built in the 1960s, and cut off the church from the village, so a bridge carrying Church Lane to the church had to be included in the works. This is the view from the bridge and duplicates Jeremy Bolwell's Image] taken 9 months previously.

Great Missenden: Church Lane
Church Lane always linked the village with the church but it had to be realigned when the A413 bypass was built. This is the realigned section with double yellow lines on each side.
