Council houses, Vale Close, Almondbury
I suspect that these might be some of the early council houses built in the 1920s. The Borough Architect was perhaps influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement, particularly the shape of the bottom corners of the gables – see one at the extreme left.

Path in Almondbury Cemetery
This is in the old part of the cemetery, Which opened in 1861. The monuments are of modest size compared with ones in Edgerton Cemetery, for example.
