Vicarage Gardens, Jackroyd Lane, Newsome
A housing development on the site of the former St John's vicarage. The church is now in a 'united benefice' with Armitage Bridge and South Crosland, and the Vicar lives elsewhere.

St John the Evangelist, Newsome - lychgate
A brass plaque within the gate dates it to 1887, some 15 years after the church building. It was presented by Joshua Littlewood of Croft House.
