Old Milestone by the A641, Bradford Road, Brackenhall
Carved stone post by the A641, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Bradford Road, Brackenhall, on ASDA roundabout, on tarmac pavement, back to boundary wall, was opposite 523 Bradford Road, on East side of road. Huddersfield 'To - From' stone, erected by the Wibsey Low Moor & Huddersfield turnpike trust in the 19th century. Broken between 2014/2017 and top part now missing.

Old milestone
All that remains of the 'listed' stone on the lefthand side of the entrance to the ASDA supermarket on Bradford Road, A641. It had been broken at some time before 2002 and cemented together. Grade II listed 1234361.

Old milestone
In 2014 the Huddersfield TO and FROM stone at the entrance to the ASDA Supermarket on the A641 was struck by a vehicle. The pieces were taken away but the stone has not been repaired. These stones were set up to regulate the carriage fares from Huddersfield town centre.
