Gas holder and John Smith's Stadium - Huddersfield
Seen across the railway by the station and across the roof of a large supermarket. The gas holder is the only one left of five originally and is column guided with a capacity of 127,000 cubic metres.

Gas holder, Gasworks Street (near Leeds Road)
Being situated in the predictably named Gasworks Street, this gas holder may not be as famous as the one at The Oval cricket ground in London but it still cuts a good shape as a landmark.

York House, Leeds Road
This building has seen better days but lingers on providing basic retail and storage space, etc. to firms looking for cheap accommodation. The site is a potential goldmine for its owner since if the nearby gas holder is ever demolished (it is just out of picture to the right in a back street) and planning permission is obtained then this could be site for some expensive flats!

Industrial building, St Andrew's Road B6432, Fartown, Huddersfield
An interesting industrial building, looking like an engine house, but without a chimney – but that might have been demolished. To the right, saw-tooth roofs typical of weaving sheds.
