Mill tower, Albert Street, Lockwood
From a distance one could be forgiven for mistaking this for a church tower! On closer inspection the thoughts are "Oh no, not Christmas already"! The tower is part of a mill building and has an iron water tank at the top.

Spa Bath
This overview of the Bath Hotel and the Baths in the foreground gives an idea of the layout of the place, hard to imagine though the idyllic scene of the description "Built of polished Ashlar stone in a fine sequested spot, sheltered by a lofty ridge, covered in woods" taken from a directory of 1830 .

Bath Street, Lockwood
Viewed from Albert Street. Bath Street extends left, out of picture, to Lockwood Road. Albert Street is totally industrial with small businesses and old mills and then you come across these three houses in the middle of it all. See Image for a view of the mill tower behind the houses.

This is the view from the Bath Hotel to the Baths themselves if you can imagine the space between was laid out as a Ornamental Garden planted with flowers,
shrubs and small trees with narrow paths meandering in between and the other side of the baths more flower beds and lawns

Spa Bath Hotel
Spa Bath Hotel Lockwood was opened in 1827 in conjunction with The Spa Baths a new enterprise at that time to start a Holiday and Health resort using the local Spring Waters (see discussion on SE1315).
