Southern end of Paddock Railway Viaduct
The viaduct here crosses Manchester Road on a metal bridge before going on to masonry arches, then metal lattice spans and at the north end more masonry arches. This combination gets the railway across the River Colne valley.

Old Milestone by the A62, Manchester Road, Huddersfield Parish
Carved stone post by the A62, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Manchester Road, near Blackmoorfoot Road, in corner between railway bridge and wall, on South side of road, West of bridge, by lamppost. Huddersfield 'To - From' stone, erected by the Wakefield & Austerlands turnpike trust in the 19th century.
