The Milton Congregational Church, Queen Street South, Huddersfield
This was built in 1883-5 in the Decorated Gothic style of the 14C. An internet search reveals that the organ was used for the Mrs Sunderland Music Competition in 1965, and that the building is now part of the University.

Former Government Offices, Queen Street South, Huddersfield
This elegant building has the date 1935 and the cypher of George V in the keystone over each door. It is now used by the University.

Datestone on the former Government Offices, Queen Street South
We are used to the cypher for George V in block capitals on letter boxes, but this one is in 'curly' letters very similar to the cypher of George VI. See Image for the building.
