Huddersfield Town Hall
This incorporates a magnificent concert hall and a big Father Willis organ. School prize-giving ceremonies were held here and I'm pretty sure I picked up my A and/or O level certificates here. Designed by Borough Surveyor John Henry Abbey. The lower section nearer the camera is for municipal offices and was completed in 1876 to an Italianate style. The concert hall beyond is a 'free classic' style and was completed in 1881.
