Old Leeds Road, Huddersfield
The building in the distance is the former St Mark's church, a mission of St Peter's parish designed by Swinden Barber, opened in 1887 and closed as a church in 1936. Its use for the next 30 years is unclear, possibly as a parish hall, but after 1966 it was used as a Sea Cadets HQ, later as a furniture warehouse. It was converted to offices in the early 2000s, and appears most recently to have been the UK headquarters of a restaurant chain called "City District", but as of the time of this submission the building was to let again.
