Huddersfield, HD1 (Station)
A close up of a section of road and some of the parking spaces that exist at each side of the now-pedestrianised St George's Square forecourt. This is also a close-up of one of the wings fronted by colonnades that exist at each side of the two-storey station entrance block. The terminal block at the end of this wing houses "The Head of Steam" pub that opened in 1996, having been left in a derelict state prior to that. Two armorial badges, inscribed the "Huddersfield and Manchester Railway & Canal Company" and the "Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company" respectively, can be seen on the two wings.
