Entrance, "The Bear" public house, Wembley
The interest lies in the clues that this public house is a former post office built in the early 1920s: still visible is the George V crest above the entrance. Ironically, the post office is sited just next door!

Wembley: Former Post Office now The Bear
The Post Office at 397A High Road, Wembley, is now The Bear public house, having been a J J Moon's outlet previously. The building still has its old posting box, beneath the window to the right of the doors, while the stone carving above the door indicates that it built during the reign of King George V (1910-1936).
